If you’re looking for that "perfect" holiday spark, This is it! The moment we stepped into the Enchanted Christmas at Glacier Rock Farms we new this was a tradition to do annually.
From the second we arrived, it felt like we had been transported straight to the North Pole. Here is a look at our night and why I think your family needs to add this to your bucket list.
A Grand Entrance
The first thing you notice is a "skyscraper" of a Christmas tree. It’s so massive that there is actually a tunnel running right through the center! As we walked through, a miniature train was circling right above our heads.
Before heading into the main barn, we took a moment to pause by the bonfire to soak up the warmth and the festive atmosphere. It was the perfect way to kick off the evening.
Warm Welcomes & Holiday Crafts
Inside the barn, the energy was so bright. We were greeted by Lori (the owner), a team of wonderful volunteers, and even a dancing Christmas tree!
We kept ourselves busy with plenty of holiday cheer:
Treats: We sipped on hot cocoa and sat down to decorate festive cookies.
Crafts: The kids got to get creative and craft their own holiday pictures.
The Trees: I counted well over 20 uniquely decorated trees throughout the farm. Finnegan’s absolute favorite was the Harry Potter-themed tree—it was a total standout!
The Journey to Santa’s Village
Before heading to the train, we were stopped in our tracks by a mesmerizing LED light show. Watching the lights "dance" to classic carols on the big screen was pure magic.
When it was time for our ride, we walked down a snowy path to meet Bob, the owner and train operator. He made sure we were cozy, providing warm fleece throws for the three-minute journey out to Santa’s Village. > Pro Tip: The train ride is short, but the destination is spectacular. The cottages are tucked away and magically decorated with endless lights and festive trees.
Meet & Greet
The best part? Everything was kept so warm and inviting. We got to spend time with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and we even had a professional photo taken. It wasn't just a picture; it felt like a true, captured family moment that we’ll cherish forever.
Animal Friends & Sweet Goodbyes
We couldn't leave without visiting the permanent residents of the farm! Outside were the sheep. Inside the barn were:
Goats, and Alpacas
Miniature Horses and Ponies
Harper's favorite was a very friendly cow
As we left with our bell ornaments (a sweet gift for ticket holders), we realized this was easily our favorite night of the year.
From my family to yours: you need to make this your new tradition. There is nothing quite like the magic they’ve built at Glacier Rock Farms.
